Brookwood Apartments

This is an old picture. It doesn't look this way anymore. The grass doesn't even get cut until someone from the surrounding community volunteers to mow it. The laundry room was closed for over a year now in the line of washers you see, one is turned on the breaker is turned off for the rest of them. Roaches are unbelievable throughout, no exterminator is provided. There were people this summer that had no AC at all. People resorted to buying their own window units which they'll use next summer as well Only once it got very cold did some heating issues get addressed. Kids walked through standing sewage to s hool and the bus stop for over 4 months until a family member of a resident contacted the county and they had volunteers come address that issue as well. This place is a horror show

Income subsidized apartments from 1 to 4 bedrooms. Generally decent condition. Major changes in crime incidents within last 6 years. New management as of early 2022. Laundry facilities on site. No regular bus service.

I Visited A Long Time Friend That Has Been A Resident There For Over 50 Years. The Grounds Looked Good. I Hadn't Seem Her Since The Covid Began.

Use to be good apartments,been here since Dec.2015 and now gone to hell.im elderly and disabled and been trying since Dec.to get recertified but not been able to reach anybody.So yes I feel discrimination cause I'm old or disabled

i love the place but the fan up on the roof doesnt work the floors r dirty when u move in the apartment the wall paint sum of it peelin off spiders r randomly gettin in my house bugs r gettin in from the fan up on the roof n the stairs squeek when i go up n down the stairs n the stairs look like they finna break n yes i live there myself
