Brookside Village Apartments

If you don't have time to read everything here is the long and short of it. Living here was a waste of time and money. For the entire month of February of this year, we had no heating and no hot water. I got in contact with management to ask what they were doing about it, and they had ordered a heater from Mexico, which would take a while to arrive due to the tariffs. Why the hell did they order a heater from Mexico? Because it was the cheapest they could find. Meanwhile, it was a miracle if the temperature got a few degrees above freezing in our apartment. Oh, and I still had to pay the full price of rent for the month. In September, I arrived at a dead fridge. I couldn't go grocery shopping for several days as I was worried the fridge wouldn't be fixed. Which brings me to my most rece

One of the worst apartments you can rent. They cost a lot and they ask a lot. We have all kinds of issues from disrepair to never getting things fixed. The clean checks are one time they will not recheck and will not let you fix anything so you get charged hundreds of dollars for their incompetence. I have lived here for over two years and the only thing that is good here is the single rooms and the receptionist that is leaving. Don't rent here it is a terrible experience for the price. They never seem to have time for anything probably because they cannot manage the property well at all. I have loved living at Brookside Village for the past year and a half. Katelyn is a very kind manager and tries her best to be accommodating. The only thing I would recommend is to upgrade the apartments (faucets, tub and toilet areas, A/C is desperately needed, maybe add laundry in unit to some? etc.), which I think they're doing next semester! The apartments just seem like they need some extra renovations to get out 2012. Otherwise, BV has a fabulous ward, kind neighbors, and cozy private rooms!
