AC stopped working within 1.5 years. Poor quality work. Subcontractors will go out of business and start business with different name. Stuck with $ 1130.61 dollar bill for AC repair and refrigerant refill. Regret using Brookside Homes.

From start to finish it was a pleasure to deal with Brookside Homes. Sales person was great, the construction manager kept us informed and responded to every call. Completion date was meet,,,actually a week early and the owner himself did final walk through. Few items that he discovered were minor and fixed that week. Part of contract was a 60 day inspection and another at one year . Again some some minor items and all were fixed promptly. Great company....no surprises.

Do not buy a home from this company. Poor quality work and unprofessional. Many mistakes made during construction. Countertops installed incorrectly, wall put in the wrong place, no gravel poured along foundation wall, water leaking in the basement etc.. Constantly having to chase them down to get things corrected. They would schedule appointments and not show up with no notification.

5+ years and still enjoying our home. But why did Brookside decide to stop building in New York state?

This is a great place to get ideas for a home. The old timer Bill is friendly and knowledgeable.
