BRIARWOOD APTS

I have lived here almost 4 years I have never jsf any problems with noone.It would be better if apts was based on.your income overall nice spacious apts and people mind their business here its a nice quiet place to live I am happy here so far.

I liked living here the first few years but my rent has almost doubled since moving in. I won’t lie, It’s really cute. I love having two bathrooms. The closet in the master bedroom is big. There’s a dishwasher and garbage disposal which is nice. But I pay for amenities, including a pool we haven’t had a pool for 2 years because of a “structural leak” that’s been a known issue since last summer and still not fixed. The area is sketchy, it’s surrounded by projects. I’ve encountered several questionable people and been followed home by a man who said he just got out of prison and I had to call the police because he circled around back and was looking into my windows. I’ve seen used needles on the ground multiple times. It’s not the best place to raise kids.

I thought about relocating to this complex. I always go in to see the reviews good and bad and I have seen more bad than good a little bit concerning. They look nice on the outside and what little pictures there is for the inside seem ok I just don't spend more time in the kitchen or bathroom so was a bit disappointed with lack of pictures. The multiple reviews on the complex manager is concerning as well as the extreme hikes in the rent. Can anyone elaborate on this. I see the most of the bad reviews was 2-5 years what about now? Anyone? RE review: This place is spacious I also know the manager is a fair manager. I have rented under Donna Mims before and quite pleased with her. Really love the spacious accommodations at Briarwood. I do not know about anything else as far as other reside

Nice place to live , can not catch anyone in office to pay rent. There for late charges applied almost monthly, money orders seem to vanish if you put them in the mail slot. And if you can catch them in office never can get a receipt, printer not working they say , I pay 850 a month , and unless I have a receipt money orders and cash are useless . You will get a late notice and have to pay it twice unless you got receipt, maybe need honest women working in office , these ladies are basic crooks

I've had little to no problems in the two years I've lived at Briarwood. My maintenance requests are always promptly answered or, if they cannot be addressed immediately, I always get a call from either the property manager or the maintenance tech about when they can come fix something. I have plenty of space and the pool is a great amenity for residents to use on hot summer days. The only negatives I would give are the incomplete fencing keeping people from the neighboring complex out and the lack of internet service options. I once tried to get the local internet from the utility company, but I was told that Briarwood did not give that company permission to come onto the property to install their fiber-to-the-premise, which means I cannot use the cheaper internet option. I am stuck with
