Brentwood Apartments

I lived there for a semester and I moved out on December 22nd and it’s now January 21st. I have not hear anything from anybody about my security deposit being disbursed. I have left voice messages, sent text messages and called multiple people and still she has not returned my call. It also needs to be renovated!

Expect to deal with the police on a weekly basis. Was broken into twice and the landlord did nothing to help. The window and screen which was damaged was never fixed. The money you save compared to a nicer apartment is lost for the electric in the winter time, I would be very surprised if there is any insulation whatsoever. Because of this, there is mold on the walls and floor. Litter is everywhere and the place is all around a dump, avoid at all costs!

This place doesn't even deserve a star. They need to just knock the whole thing down and start over. Absolutely nothing is up to date. I stayed there for 2 years free basically because they refused to fix anything correctly and code took them to court for everything.

There wasn't one damn thing I liked about this place. The place is broken down and filthy. Bullet holes in the windows, exterior doors don't seal. No garbage pick up for a whole summer. Rooms were not repainted after last tenant. Rooms were not cleaned after last tenan, the bathtub and frigerator were gross. Unless you're desperate, don't bother with this place..

As others have said. It is near impossible to get a response. Conditions are subpar and little to no maintenance. And when you leave, expect to be hit with cleaning fees and other ridiculous fees and it will be near impossible to get the security deposit back short of threatening court action. Don't expect much.
