Breakwater Bay Apartments

They have failed in numerous ways, and I regret moving in, thinking it would be a pleasant experience. The gates are frequently malfunctioning for weeks, and the dumpsters are often surrounded by garbage and rodents due to residents' laziness in disposing of trash properly. The pool is consistently plagued by algae and mold, and instead of thoroughly cleaning and filtering it, they merely add shock. As a result, I was only able to use it once and subsequently contracted a severe staph infection all over my face. I am fed up with the constant smell of weed and garbage in this place. Furthermore, they impose excessive fines of up to $150 for minor infractions with little to no notice, often based on hearsay. While I understand their concerns, they should not rely on unsubstantiated reports.

Had this apartment replace our water heater today and saw this behind it. Was told before we moved in that this apartment was completely cleaned been having nothing but issues with them. The maintenance worker that is working on this placed the old water heater on our COUCH staining it and soaking it in water. Some of our college books that we rent are damaged too. I do not recommend come here or renting here for the price we pay this is not a high end apartment. I will be getting a healthier inspector out to look at this mold.

My Son and Daughter moved in July apt# 2021upon moving in there was a strong over powering cat urine smell. They finished there check list there were several things needing fixed, bathroom sink drains slow, 2 burners on the stove doesn't work looked under the hood of the burns they are just hanging really a fire hazard. stains on carpet they said they replaced plus the cat urine smell. Lights out on patio.inside oven wasn't cleaned. Paint in kitchen floor. Neighbors said they didn't replace the carpet. When my son talk to the ladies at the office they said they would come check it out. Then the sent a air freshener to put on top of the air filter. Also they sent someone to clean the carpet. They didn't notify them when they came so they couldn't have time to get all the boxes out of the w

I have lived here 2 years and have enjoyed, office staff is Great if any needs or concerns they are right on Top of it. The maintenance crew is on point.

Since the Breakwater Bay automated systems are wanting a review so much, here is mine. The apartment's A/C unit broke down shortly after I moved into my apartment. Maintenance personnel have been responsive, but so far, the issue has not been resolved, in the middle of a hot, humid summer. It's only been a couple of days since my last maintenance request, but that's a couple of days of marginal sleep, and no sleep at all, last night. The A/C broke down before that, icing up while trying to keep my apartment at 70 Fahrenheit, and was fixed to the extent that the maintenance specialist could arrange, and started working again for a week or so- though that, itself, took a couple of days of thawing out while I continued to fry.
