Blue Heron Ponds Apartments

Pros: -The buildings are in good condition. -Maintenance does a good job. Neutral point being location. Being right outside town means it's quiet here, but that means there isn't really anything here, i.e. no playgrounds, parks, or walk-able areas. Cons: -The rules only matter when the landlord feels like enforcing them, like dogs must be on leashes, or what you can use your garage for. -Told to go to the landlord with any issues about other tenants, but don't know their own policies, and will barely listen to your complaint before just calling the sheriff to deal with it. -Rent hiked up $100 (after raising every previous year as well) to stay on a year-long lease aka an 11% increase. Would have been $200 if going to month-to-month. Guarantee that money isn't going to the maintenance tea

We moved my father into these lovely apartments over a year ago. He has been very happy living here. Where they put him is quiet and has a nice view of the pond. Management has been great to him. They are quick to fix anything and help him out. Their commitment to the tenants is wonderful especially since I live out of state and can not always help him with little things. Thank you so much for all employees of this establishment for making it a great place for my father.

This place is amazing! Now I personally don't live there but after my father's wife past away and being in his 70s he decided to sell his house and we looked at numerous places and Blue Heron was amazing in every way. The were so helpful and found my dad a great apartment facing the ponds and he is very happy! What more could I ask for. In his building are other seniors so he talks to them. Everytime I'm there the lawn and maintenance staff are always hard at work. The grounds are nice and clean. It is very well managed and kept. I love that the process of allowing tenants is very detailed and thorough. Thank you Blue Heron for taking such good care of my dad!

I lived at this location for almost 5 years. Snow removal was prompt, my neighbors were quiet, and any maintenance requests were handled within a very short time. If my job hadn't relocated me to Madison I'd still be living there. The value is very good especially after pricing out apartments in the Madison area. I highly recommend Blue Heron Ponds in Fond du Lac.

Lived here 5 years. Manager changed once during that time. Both were good, friendly, professional. Good maintenance people. Repairs get done fast. Really nice noise insulation (concrete layer instead of wood.) Nice area, safe, mostly quiet except EAA festival once a year for a week. Five minute drive from a nice walmart, several gas stations, highway. Large garage that fits a small car, bicycle and motorcycle. Motorcycle never had problems after winter storage here.
