Blake sold my mom's house, as well as some land this past year, after she passed away. The sale involved property that was listed in a will and could be sold outside of the estate. He spent more time than I think most realtors would in dealing with the properties by giving a written Broker Opinion on the value of each individual property, as well as technical suggestions for preparation and handling of the sale of the properties. Importantly, the Broker Opinion was accepted for a fair value of the property for the estate handling and listing. This is important because it reduced the capital gains from taxes after the property was sold. The properties sold quickly, which was our goal, and we received what we considered to be fair prices.
