Bexley at Lake Norman Apartments

Bexley at Lake Norman became our first home in the United States, and we are incredibly grateful for this experience. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and cozy, and the location is simply wonderful. From the very beginning, the management, office staff, and maintenance team were professional, kind, and always ready to help. Every request was handled quickly and with care, which made us feel truly supported and comfortable. This place felt like more than just an apartment — it felt like home. We will always remember our time here with warmth and gratitude. We will happily recommend this community to our friends and compatriots from the CIS countries who are moving to the U.S. Thank you for everything! 💛

We lived at Bexley for a year and while at first it seems fine towards the end of the year we experience a water leak due to bursted pipe and the Bexley team handled it TERRIBLY. I was not home at the time and they did not call me so water melts running for hours after burst. The damage soaked lots of my electronics and furniture. They provided no apology and the overall fix to repair ceiling, retexture, paint took 11-12 weeks, where I had to consistently email them to get things done they put no effort and did not make this a priority. We terminated early and attempted to meet the new manger to go over these issues but the new manager was terrible and avoided speaking to us on multiple occasions because they don’t know how to manage an apartment. Prior the fire I've only had one other issue here where my car was broken into, but nothing was taken. Just my car door was open and all of the insides were scattered. I was a little frustrated that the office didn't share an email upon my request to warn other residents, but they did take the time to listen to what happened. Since nothing important was taken we ruled it as kids being kids since the gate here is never closed so who knows what happened. After the fire in my building I have been really disappointed in the property ownership. The office workers have been really doing whatever they can within their means and I don't discredit any of them. My wife and I moved into bexley lake norman hoping for a quiet, low cost, apartment. What we got was a dirty, loud, moldy, water leaking, noisy rude neighbors, excessive construction and interstate noise, grid locked roads, lack of sympathy or attention from management, and severe frustration. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone.

Bexley Lake Norman is an unusually special apartment complex, set on a expansive, beautifully landscaped piece of land, with buildings that are well spaced and maintained. We are well into our fourth year as residents, with no plans to leave. Our unit itself is lovely, but much more recommends this choice. Others have mentioned the spit of lake around which Bexley Lake Norman is built. Residents swim and float, kayak and canoe, fish and paddle board throughout the long summer season. If the lake is not for you, the pool is generous and well-kept. Maintenance is responsive and respectful with staff who are nice to know. This is also goes for the office team team.
