Berkshire Hathaway Starck Real Estate

While I'm unsure what the experience is like hiring the Berkshire Hathaway Starck team directly, we dealt with one of their agents who was selling a property. We had one of the worst experiences anyone could have, especially considering we were first time home buyers. The listing agent from Berkshire was incredibly unprofessional and rude to our realtor and our inspector. At the end of the day, we still got the house, but the process was unnecessarily difficult due to their agent's terrible attitude, unresponsiveness, inflexibility, and overall not pleasant to work with.

Tony Peterson, from Berkshire Hathaway Starck Real Estate, was highly recommended to me by my financial planner. He told me that "everyone enjoys working with Tony." He was right. I had placed my mother's house on the market back in January, 2020. After 8 months, this very nice house hadn't sold. I did not know why. When the previous real estate agent's contract expired, I reached out to Tony. Tony drove quite a long way to meet with me at my mother's house. He showed me things in the house that needed to be cleaned and updated. I might add that Tony was always tactful in providing me any suggestions about the house. He then set to work gathering a huge booklet of statistics and pictures of houses similar to my mother's. He went over this booklet with me very carefully. I soo

I was very pleased to work with one of the realtors with the name of Pepa Filtcheva. Pepa is a wonderful and a very kind person. But this is just a "bonus" to her professional attitude. I was impressed by the way she was looking the properties with me. It felt like she had my concerns and it was like she was looking for my best interest buying a property to make sure everything is in order based on what I was looking for. All phone calls answered or returned. Same with all text messages. Always there with me whenever I wanted to see a new property. I felt I had a friend on my side helping me to make this big decision in my life a good decision. And I have now a home to call my own thanks to Pepa.

Never return phone calls and my messages left, it's a joke. It has been 3 week's from my last call to them. Not professional at all.

Would not recommend this agency or realtor I was dealing with who works for them.
