Beachcomber In Venice

This place was SO CLEAN. For myself cleanliness of the room is the most important factor. If that is true for you, you will be EXTREMELY satisfied staying here. There was not a grain of sand, dead bug, cobweb or anyone else's hair anywhere. Outside of the room was also spotless and debrisless. Aside from the cleanliness being well above average, the room itself was adorable. The bed was a Murphy bed that we had to make ourselves with the linens provided. There was a full kitchen, pool towels and a copious amount of hats to wear to the beach which grosses me out but is probably welcomed by some. The pool was pristine and there were chairs and bikes a various pool toys available to use. I prefer the non-invasive housekeeping method used here where one is fairly autonomous unless a need arise

I stayed 5 nights with my son in unit 19. The Beachcomber is in a perfect spot! It was so peaceful and quiet. We pretty much had the beach and the pool to ourselves and had a fun time hunting for shark teeth right on the beach. Unit 19 is small and cozy but was fine for the two of us. We were able to cook small meals in the efficiency kitchen. The only downside is the mattress on the Murphy bed. I don't know that there are many options of upgrading it because it's a Murphy bed but a mattress topper would probably help a lot. It was loud when either of us turned over and you can feel the springs. But that was the ONLY downside. People are friendly. There were beach chairs and sifters to borrow. We would definitely come back again!

We stayed in unit 14 and loved our visit. The unit was super clean and they had thought of everything that we might need. The Beachcomber's common areas were lovely as well. The location is exceptional and the property managers are wonderful. We loved that there were beach chairs we could use. It was also really fun to look for fossils. What a great get away!

This is a real hidden gem! Located right on the beach with a heated pool and community room for social time. Really folks this is what we were searching for. It's not a fancy high rise, but instead a place to unwind and enjoy sunsets and even catch a few fish. Oh did I mention that It's also located within walking distance to the quaint town of Venice with excellent dining options. The manager and staff top this vacation spot off with warm southern hospitality.
