BDR Custom Homes

Working with BDR to build our new house was a great experience; a wonderful collaboration to make our vision a reality. I will emphasize two things about that collaboration. First, BDR, and specifically Chris our construction manager, was a steward of our project; our trust in them grew as the project went along. From beginning to end, BDR exhibited the same level of care/passion for achieving a great outcome as we did. Second, we asked for and received great craftsmanship in every area of the project, whether that was a BDR team member doing the work or the subcontractors that they engaged. The competence of the people and the quality of the work met a high standard. To summarize our experience with BDR - we are very satisfied!

BDR is the Custom Home Company to use! They build only the very best. Our boathouse was destroyed in a storm last spring and BDR designed and build a boathouse that looks and feels just like our home structure. It will last another 80 years like our last one! We were so pleased and continue to be extremely happy with our luxury home build on Lake Michigan in Holland. BDR was excellent from the beginning. Our PM Eric was very responsive and easy and pleasant to work with. The quality and professionalism by their sub-contractors and other staff such as Sue, Rachel and Amanda, Hector and Bobby were top notch. The punch list after move-in has been handled in a timely manner and the 2 year warranty will be a bonus as well.

BDR helped us create our dream home for retirement. Each aspect of the build process was smooth and painless. Everyone from BDR was professional, competent, and responsive, from the company principals to the estimator to the project manager to the selections coordinator to the accounting staff. The project was completed on time, and the quality of the build exceeded all of our expectations, the result of attentive oversight by our project manager and excellent subcontractors selected by BDR. We would not hesitate to use BDR again, and would recommend them to anyone looking to create the best custom home imaginable.
