Bayview West Apartments

Management has been very inefficient for more than half the time I have lived here. BUT, with the new property manager Sara Hinojosa things seem to be turning around. See quickly and efficiently resolved my 2 issues. Which is very different from the previous property managers. She seems to be very caring and wanting to help residents to the best of her ability.

Do not live here! Horrible apartments, completely over charging for the kind of place this is. I have lived here for a few months now and can not wait until my lease is up next year so I can finally move in with my son! There are mold issues, I’m constantly trying to clean it but it is impossible, it just comes right back and is causing me to be very ill. Ant infestations, they had a service come try to fix the issue but it only made it so much worse than what it was. Everything will break with light touch or just stop working. Forget the maintenance team, they take forever to come out just to look at the issue. Luckily my son is very handy and helps me. I’ve had a few homeless people just walk right on in if I forget to keep my door locked which is very scary as I live alone. Now that I m

They have the worst management imaginable. My sink and dishwasher didn’t work for over a month. I did dishes in the tub to make dinner for thanksgiving. I emailed them repeatedly and filed for many maintenance requests and no one came for over a month. Now that I am moving out on the first we’ve scheduled 3 pre move out inspections. The first one NO ONE SHOWED UP. We called 5 times and no one answered. The 2nd time it was 20 min past time so I called and she said they were running 20 more minutes late. Meaning I’d be waiting 40 min for them. No. Not doing that. I leave work for this. My husband did the first time. They do not respect your time. So now we have another inspection coming up next week. We’ll see if they can do their job.

Update August 2019. After living here for 3 years I have seen this apartment change property manager 3 times and it seems like there's a new maintenance man every couple of months. Upon post move out, the last property manager never updated me on any discrepancies regarding move out inspection and cleaning follow up. So he just sent it straight to a debt collector and called it a day. Doesn't even have a bit of professionalism to even notify tenants of something that can affect their credit. I would not recommend anyone to live here at all. -------------- After our second month of living here, 1 of 7 items have yet to be fixed. The management does not reply to voice-mail or emails regarding our issues. It makes our time living here a degraded experience.

My wife and I lived here for almost three years and had an excellent experience! The manager, Julie Combs, is extremely professional and always communicated with us quickly when we had any issues. Roomy apartments and helpful management, what’s not to love!
