Bass Island Condominiums

Under no circumstances should you rent an apartment in this complex. They run a bizarre predatory towing scheme whereby 4-6 times a day a towing company patrols the parking lot and shakes down the tenants and their guests* by hitching their vehicles and then charging exorbitant fees, payable only in cash, to return them to the pavement. I lived here for slightly more than a year and had to pay these "drop fees" on four occasions. Each time I deducted the cost from my rent, but most of the tenants here are either foreigners, substance-abusers, or both, and thus haven't the confidence or wherewithal to do that. *This is an apartment complex consisting of six three-storey buildings, and it has all of 10 parking spaces allotted to guests. Naturally they're almost always all occupied.

Been living here for almost seven months and highly don’t recommend. Dan’s Towing is predatory and goes cars as stated 4-6 times a week. There are drugs everywhere, and people steal packages here. Corporate doesn’t care about residents and it is dirty and disgusting everywhere. Worst apartment I have ever rented.

It's a community that actually takes the best interest of it's owners and tenents. Making it safer and more enjoyable every day. Quick access to the highway. Wonderful trail system within walking disance. Very convienent.
