Avondale Place Apartments

This has been the WORST apartment experience for me! My lease officially started on Halloween. Brittani assisted me throughout my moving process and it's been an uphill battle. I applied for an upgraded unit and was told I'll get it. I paid $600 for the security deposit and the 1st month's rent for an upgraded unit. Prior to me signing the welcome letter and lease, Brittani asked me if I could afford the rent for the upgraded unit (which I thought the question was strange). I said yes. When I received my welcome letter it was for a classic unit. I spoke with the apartment manager and he assured me that it was a clerical error and Brittani would fix it. And she did. A week before my move-in date I received my welcome letter. On Halloween I signed my lease for the upgraded unit. Later in the

Apartment next to ours is flooded, contractors left a pipe under the sink bursting with water, which has flooded into our apartment. Moved in in April, have had some kind of event every. Single. Month. I highly do not recommend these apartments as maintenance brushes off issues. Thankfully dekalb county code came out and city code and fined them for MOLD. Yes there is mold in our cabinets. Not to mention the sinking ceiling in our kitchen, which we were told “remember you’re on the bottom floor.” Electrical issues, plumbing issues.

Everything was done through email. No one ever contacted me directly. Never got an explanation for anything make more than enough and will still denied. After seeing the last reviews I’m thinking bullets were dodged and earlier today I realized that this place is not Avondale reserve so I applied to the wrong place anyway. The lord intervened because he knew it wasn’t for me. Praise him.

The move in process was incredibly smooth and stress free! Brittani was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful every step of the way. She answered all my questions quickly and made sure everything was ready for move in day. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend working with her if you’re looking for a new place!

Brittani has been incredible. She got me approved for a apartment and has made the rental process extremely easy. This is my first apartment in Atlanta and I'm pleased at my overall experience.
