Autumn Oaks Apartments

POOR MANAGEMENT left an application and was immediately denied on the spot before any of my information was ran. She completely judged me and sent me a bogus email the following day. Poor behavior. Was not helpful what so ever.

I just put 5 stars so people could see this. But after reading multiple reviews both good and bad because I'm interested in moving, I will not be moving here. Poor management = loss of tenants OR MULTIPLE LAW SUITS. Because let me tell yall something and do you a favor as someone who has dealt with crappy improper landlords before. Record everything, keep all "receipts", and date everything. Record either audio(which is legal in NC and requires one side of consent in order to be accepted) or video (which is legal in NC but requires permission on both parties and if they don't consent to being recorded you can still keep video you just can NOT have their face in it) of staff saying and doing or lack there of. Document how long it takes things to get done after being properly reported. Docum

my partner and i just moved to NC and we’ve been applying at several apartments, but this experience was by far one of the most interesting. we applied at Autumn Oaks, expecting the same with every other apartment we’d been to. about a couple weeks after we turned in our application, we get a call from them ; they were running our credit checks. great, means they’re making progress with our app. fast forward about a month, and during that time, the person we had been working with had gone to training for two weeks, and her assistant (?) had been dragging out parts of the process, and making it hell for us (like needing us to contact our jobs for our own verification, which was doubly difficult for me because my job makes it impossible to speak to a real person). the woman came ba

Asia and Claudia were very kind and helpful. They were completely honest with me about the history of the apartment complex and even stated that if at anytime my family felt unsafe they would accommodate adjustments (case by case basis) in the lease. The move date is 3/8/19, so I will provide an updated review in a few months.
