Aurea Apartments

I have lived here, Brook Highland Place apartments, for approximately 9 months. I found mold in my apartment within the first month i lived there and put in a work order. All they did is spot clean the mold and closed the work order as completed. The mold came back. 9 months later I am on my 4th work order for BLACK MOLD and this time it is out of control! Mold is everywhere, drawers are covered, sink drain covered, shoes, boots, hats, even toilet paper all COVERED!!!! With BLACK MOLD!!!!!! Nothing is being done. I am still living in this dangerous mold covered apartment and all the property manager can say is she is waiting to here from corperate! How about a safe hotel room to sleep in? Brookhighland Place Apts are terrible I came in on a special and was put in a mold filled apartment , doors were never correctly on the hinges there’s leakage through out the apartments and Nicole is just rude,unprofessional, and unethical for no reason ! Nothing was fixed but there are charges on my account that shouldn’t even be there and no one comes to fix things when asked also I put in work orders and they all were cancelled and Nicole responded as if it was my fault when whole time she knew the situation ! Update: since we moved here in January, they are now on their THIRD property manager. We've had two power surges that have blown out two appliances. Had to get a new oven, and now our fridge isn't working properly after another surge two days ago. It blew out our bathroom lights as well. We placed a work order, they came by, and get this: TOOK A LIGHTBULB OUT OF MY LAMP and put it in the dining room light fixture?!?!!!!! And left me a note on the old lightbulb which I'll attach a photo 😂 YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP. Beware of this place, it is a complete disaster and the new property manager has no idea what she's in for. I'm honestly starting to get worried about the wiring being a safety hazard here. Did you get rid of cable as a cost-cutting measure, or maybe you're just tired of the narrative pushed by the mainstream media? I had a very disappointing experience with Aurea Apartments. I applied with them under the impression that the application was supposed to be free, yet I was charged. When I reached out to have the issue corrected, they refused to return my money. Every time I called to get an update or speak with someone, the front desk staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. On several occasions, they answered the phone only to hang up on me immediately. The lack of customer service and basic respect was unbelievable. All I wanted was clarity and to have my funds returned, but instead I was met with disrespect and no accountability.
