Aston Chicago Apartments

We’ve lived at the Aston since 2020 and can truly say it’s the best building downtown. The staff (concierge, maintenance, janitorial team) have become family. The apartments are spacious and the amenities can’t be beat. The new manager has created more community events that enhance the experience. The one downside is we’ve moved 3x over our time here due to random rent increases and other apartments being randomly less. Outside of the Graystar red tape, we love the Aston!

In a world where online reviews are often used just to air grievances, I want to take a moment to do the opposite. I have lived at The Aston for several years now, and while the front office is great, the Facilities Engineering and Facilities Care teams are the true heartbeat of this building. These are the "curtain guys and gals" who work tirelessly behind the scenes. We might not interact with them every single day, but their contribution to our comfort is arguably the most impactful. Whether it’s keeping the common areas pristine or ensuring everything in our homes functions perfectly, their work ethic and character are remarkable. I’ve been visiting my friend who has lived at the Aston for over two years, and every time I come by I’m blown away by how amazing the maintenance crew is. They are not only professional and skilled but also incredibly friendly and approachable. My friend can’t say enough good things about them—and I can see why. They always go above and beyond their scope of work, whether it’s quickly fixing even the smallest things inside her apartment or making sure the building stays in excellent condition. Their responsiveness and positive attitude create such a welcoming atmosphere. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it truly makes the Aston feel like home for its residents and their guests.

AMAZING apartment complex with plush resort style amenities. World class gym and heated pool with swimming lanes. Shared Club Lounge is always immaculately clean with breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline. Who can complain about a rooftop jacuzzi with a view of Chicago skyline, firepits with TVs, music, and BBQ grill areas. Thanks very much to Rosie, Gabe, and the entire team of cleaning staff that keep this place sparkling !!!! You guys ROCK !

Absolutely loved our time at the Aston. From management, to front desk, to maintenance, everyone has been supportive, kind, and accommodating in our experience. Really going to miss our living here, the amenities, views, and location. Thank you to everyone who made our chapter here enjoyable and supported us along the way!
