Aspen Village Apartments

Glad I left this place. This place is a Joke. The new property manager is basically useless. Looks for any reason to close the office and become unavailable. Its bad enough the office which houses the gym is only open about 8 hours a day scheduled. But when its closed most of the time, its basically a scam to say they have a gym. Trying to reach out to her is pointless. Takes her 1-Never business days most of the time to get a response. Which again doesn't help she closes down the office 1/2 the time it should be open. These buildings are old and just get the Landlord Special treatment for any issues. Ants are a constant problem. Need any repairs for your falling apart old apartment? Better be home or they will just knock then walk away if no one answers. They charge almost the same as

The office is always closed, they don't return phone calls or emails. These are income restricted and you pay the same as new apartments. The indoor hallways are always dirty and smell. The manager is rude. I'm happy we moved out. I don't recommend this place!

The community manager Malinda Obayashi is great! She was a great help with helping us navigate getting into our first apartment. The men working as maintenance are super friendly and always willing to help! When we first moved in the apartments were pretty outdated but Malinda has done great updates and continues to make sure the apartments kept well maintained.

Awesome location. Very walkable and made it possible to get by with no car for a stretch. The management is quick to respond. I usually email Malinda and hear back the same day. Check the laundry situation of the building you move into. My building has no machines. The place has greatly improved since the new management took over. They opened the pool and put in a new playground. They will inspect for pest regularly. Be prepared to pay for the cost of treatment if bugs are found. It's not a luxury apartment but it has a great layout and a good price for the area.

Malinda never has any issues answering any questions I have. Work orders are always done in a timely manner. I love living here because it is close to many stores, fast food, restaurants, the mall and even public transportation. They’ve got a cute lil playground in the back for my kids to use. They’ve got a swimming pool that has been a great option in the summer for a quick cool down. If you have dogs there is a dog park. Maintenance is always making sure the outside is clean and garbage free.
