We’ve been living here for three months now. Despite some of the reviews, this has turned out to be a pretty good place to live. I haven’t noticed any major drawbacks. The apartment is very clean, and everything works as it should. The office staff are very polite. However, there’s one issue that ruins everything, and it’s probably something Aspen Run can’t do much about. We requested an apartment facing the backyard, but unfortunately, that wasn’t possible, so our windows face the road. There are two motorcyclists who pass by with unbelievably loud music. They ride by with an incredible amount of noise, both during the day and at night. I’ve been living in Aspen Run for about 5 months. The area is good. Maintenance does what they can to fix things in timely fashion. You do have to be on top of it so they don’t forget but that could be due to high volume issues. However the issues come from the office staff. To give direct feedback. Today I was treated very poorly by one of the front desk staff Octavia Hines. She was short. Cold. Disrespectful and to say the very least mean. She even hung up in my face while I was speaking. I’ve been contacting and communicating with her for about 2 weeks and today took the cake with her behavior and mannerism. Review of Aspen Run Apartments I have lived at Aspen Run since 2020, and my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. When I first moved in, rent was around $900, but over the years it increased to over $1,400 with no upgrades, improvements, or reasonable explanation for the drastic hikes. The living conditions in the building were unacceptable. The hallway in 3900 constantly smelled, had dirty, worn-out carpet, and old paint that was never touched up. I repeatedly expressed my concerns to the rental office, but for two years I received nothing but empty promises that it was “being worked on.” Security was also a major issue. Aspen run is one of the most dirty deplorable apartments. This was the condition of the refrigerator they refused to replace. Also they kept more than half of security deposit because they claimed the carpet was so damaged and smelled like piss. A straight lie. Did not have any pets, only lived there for 1 year. This is the carpet they claimed they have to replace because it was so damaged. They are out here charging people an arm and a leg for substandard crap.

I’m not quite at a five star yet because I’m still waiting on the outcome of my repairs but I just moved in almost three weeks ago and I really thought I ended up in a bad situation here initially. There was A LOT that needed to be done to my apartment at move in and I was really disappointed and it’s been some time since I voiced my concerns to the leasing office about what all is wrong but today I finally just stopped into the leasing office and sat down with Octavia to express how frustrated I was and let down that somethings weren’t working and she was so professional and genuinely seemed to want to help me and even got an immediate fix to some things that she asked maintenance to just simply go out and look at.
