ArtHaus Hannah

I've been living at ArtHaus Hannah since May 2024 and I've had an enjoyable and fantastic time living here. There's so many cool and unique things about this place that made it a really good fit for me. I love how close ArtHaus Hannah is to the West Oakland Bart Station (less than 2 miles) and Jack London Ferry terminal (less than 3 miles). There's also a bus stop directly across the street that takes you to both locations that I was able to use when I didn't have my car available. Best part has to be that Brix Brewery and June's Pizza are literally down the street and less than a mile away so no Uber or Doordash needed but of course still an option as needed. There's an onsite gym with all the essential equipment and a really cool rooftop outdoor lounge area with 360 views of downtown

RENTER BEWARE- Do NOT move here!!! I never write reviews but I felt like I had to for this terrible place. I was a tenant with my partner at ArtHaus Hannah from Oct 1, 2024-Oct 31, 2025. In the 13 months we lived there, there was NO contact with management or anyone in the leasing office. The leasing office is just there for show, no one is EVER in there. We literally received our keys in our mailbox they left unlocked. There is no communication with management and anytime you need maintenance you will absolutely get the run around. The billing system of this moronic place is completely illegal and full of many hidden fees that were not agreed upon in our lease. BEWARE they will absolutely overcharge you and not expect you to question. Once you do, the charges suddenly drop. Completely s

Do NOT move in here. You will not be taken care of, there are a LOT of car crimes, and management doesn’t exist. We have to use a crappy AI assistant that doesn’t even work. I have been trying to get a parking spot since my car was stolen off this street end of Oct. No one from management is following up and it’s been like 2 months. I have to park my car at my bfs house in Daly City from fear of it getting stolen again. On thanksgiving my friends tires got stolen off his car and it was propped up on cinder blocks. Like wow. Super unsafe to park. What they’ve got right: overall cleanliness (but the pet pee in the carpets has got to be controlled!!!), stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer in every unit, love the cabinets, I like the package lockers and the fact that there’s a gym downstairs. What’s wrong: It all comes down to communication, and communication from management is little to nothing. Less than 24 hour notices, no responses to inquiries, no explanation on changes, no followup… very much “here is the information and do with it what you will but don’t expect a response to your questions even though you will probably have many.” They started depending on this AI “Sophie.” Every time I’ve inquired, “Sophie” says someone is going to get back to me. My utility bill this month came to over $250 for water and over $130 for sewer amoung varoius other charges. All unexplained. I have paid around $50 for both since ive lived here. This is after I waited MONTHS for my dishwasher to be replaced only just two weeks ago. I was ignored and given the run around on serveral occasions. Theft is rampant but they dont put anyone in the office downstairs or even visit occasionally. I have come home to packages ripped open and stolen on multiple occasions.
