Ark Retreats by Neat Suites

Love this place! Here's my short list: close to the Ark, close to the Shell Gas station that ironically had fantastic breakfast and kind "locals" to mingle with;), great room for kids (toys that kept them off of electronics and playing together was a huge bonus), nice bathrooms, great living space to hang out together (kids brought down bean bag chairs for a movie/extra seating), ate in vs. eating out (everything you need is there, just pack some food!), etc. We plan to stay again! :)

This rental was PERFECT for our family of 6 adults and 3 children! Our 7-year old granddaughter said: “Everything was fun til we had to leave. I wanted to stay for like a week”🥹 She speaks for all of us. Enjoyed your quaint little town and our visit to the Ark Encounter! The kids loved fishing off the pier and playing in the hot tub. We were thankful for the child size life vests. And I loved having crushed ice!😜 We love the simple, modern style of the home and furnishings. And appreciated all the little details that made us feel welcome. THANK YOU for everything! We would love a list of your other properties for our next get-together.

The airbnb itself was very clean and well decorated giving it a warm feel. The rooms upstairs were hot in temperature unless you made sure to turn the ac unit down very low. One complaint that we have is the parking lot area. It is a narrow lot and the landscape by it is very unsafe. I had backed my van in and my friend was slipping on the rocks as she tried to get her luggage out. I went to the back to help close my hatch and I fell completely backwards on the rocks with my head slanted down towards the drop off. I kept sliding and my friend was yelling, trying to hold onto me. Thankfully there were tree limbs that I held onto until I could get myself turned over and had to climb back up the embankment. We had a family vacation which included myself and my granddaughter, sister and her grown son, and a brother and his wife. The oldest was 82. It was very spacious. It has two family rooms with TV. Very clean, enjoyed the fire place. A great place to visit.

Great house! My friends and I enjoyed the spaciousness and beautiful accommodations. It was perfect for quiet retreat after a day at the Ark. The house could easily accommodate more than our 4 ladies. Would recommend it as a family retreat.
