Arbor Woods Apartments

I lived here for two years. I had a wonderful experience. I felt safe and the location is perfect. You have the feeling of condo living with own entrance and laundry room. Management was always quick to respond/fix any issues which were very minimal. Andrew, the manager, was very polite and personable. I can't say anything negative . Arbor Woods is the place to live!

The apartments are not updated at all. Since I’ve lived here, I have had all kinds of bugs. Every winter and summer I have dealt with a different kind of bug. There are so many bushes by my windows and I’ve tried everything to get rid of these infestation of different bugs. I’ve been here 3 years and I have not used my dish washer due to it being soo dirty and it smells horrible, but they stated they couldn’t give me a new dishwasher. On two eyes work in my stove and barely the front big one. These apartments need to be updated better. Pest control only comes out twice a week. Maintenance comes and fix certain things, but it was stated I have to switch my own lightbulbs and ice t even reach the one in the kitchen. This is not the best place to live. I don’t feel comfortable in my kitchen

I moved in 2 months ago. The grounds are extremely well kept, mail gets delivered right to your door, and there's always plenty of parking. The rent is very reasonable. The apartments are a little out-dated (cracks in the wall/flooring everywhere), and there are things I am not happy with about the apartment, but it is OK. The bathroom cabinet has giant holes in it, filled with puddy, and the tiling in the bathroom is long past needing replacement (office refused). The walls are extremely thin. I hear my neighbor's conversations, and I hear the residents above me walking, and the squeaking their walking makes. That's apartment life, on the first floor. Summers are horrible with bugs. Attempted to apply here after being referred by their sister property Plymouth woods because of openings . Did the application and was told I needed to submit documents and that a link an email would be sent so I could do so . Called back multiple times , left voicemails and have gotten no response . And never received the email to submit and there is no email on their website so you are at their mercy when it comes to contact . It’s been over a week and nobody has gotten back to me . There’s no urgency or professionalism . First impressions are everything and housing is everyone’s major concern so to have people on their leasing office that clearly aren’t in a hurry or even concerned with helping is very discouraging and frustrating and is the reason I will not pursue this place any furth

Lived here about a year. Enjoyed the relaxed staff and knowledgeable service. I'm forgetful about paying rent by the 1st and it has never been a problem. We once needed our hotwater heater replaced and it was done efficiently. The community is quiet, my cat enjoys the courtyard out back, lots of natural light, and there's plenty of parking. Downsides: Apartments aren't well-insulated and can be drafty in the winter. You can hear your neighbors and sound carries from living room to master bedroom. When we moved in, the apartment smelled odd, but we shampooed the carpets and the smell went away. I'm also annoyed there are no on-site recycling bins. Overall, we want to renew our lease.
