Listen to the reviews about the deposit. I reached out to the central manager at MG Properties expressing my concern about the charges upon move-out. I was charged 500 dollars for new paint/labor. That is absurd. It is ridiculous and I expressed I felt it fell under normal wear and tear. The only thing left to do as a previous tenant, is go to small claims court over the deposit. That's about it. The location is great. Maintenance staff is nice, but response times vary. It is evident they are short staffed. The buildings are not brand new, but one would think the upkeep of this place would be a priority. We are a military couple with a 2 year old. No parties, music, etc... we're typically really quiet. We were harassed by our neighbor constantly for months. She would call security on us between 6-8pm for our crying toddler. The last straw was when that neighbor tried to open our door and enter our home!! We ended up calling the police, as that's illegal. In total, we had about 4 or 5 visits from security, and we told the rental agents about each and every time she called. The most they would say is that they had to give her enough warnings before anything could be done. My husband was about to deploy, and I didn't feel safe with Karen next door, so we moved to base. DO NOT RENT HERE!! BEWARE- OUTLANDISH MOVE-OUT COSTS Maintenance team said our place was in excellent condition and thanked us yet we receive a bill for $670 on top of them using our entire $400 deposit (standard cleaning $165, carpet cleaning $295, painting $750). The place was in great condition upon move-out and we have pics to prove it. This was a great place when we first moved in but in less than a year the complex was sold to another company and quickly went downhill. Spread the word to your commands that this place is run by scam artists*** Before I start let me say that my experience living here was great, the maintenance team was always friendly and helpful, and I never had a bad interaction with any of the staff in the office. But this has been the worst move out experience I have ever had and I could not recommend more highly that you stay away from any property managed by this company. My family moved out of Andorra after living a few years there. We moved because it was becoming too expensive and we also needed more space. I was successful in getting back my entire security deposit and wasn't charged for any additional fees (more on that below). Giving 4/5 for the following reasons: Pros: - Nice heated pools (although these were closed down for quite some time during our final year living there; previous years were okay) - The apartment unit itself was clean and overall well-kept. - I liked the location of the complex and felt safe/family friendly walking to parks and green spaces outside the gates. - Maintenance is incredibly responsive and go above and beyond (Juan, Manny, Christian, Regina-- thank you!)
