In my opinion, they are awful as a servicer. They sent my first statement EVER via snail mail dated Jan 23, 2026 and expected payment by Feb. 1, 2026. USPS couldn't even get through the snow blizzard of Jan 2026, but I should have used my crystal ball to learn my account number and start making payments?! It's giving me scammy vibes personally (opinion only). They did tell me that they'll *maybe* waive the late fee, but they would only do it once for the life of the loan so choose wisely. On top of all that, they'll only accept a paper check, and I have to send it via USPS mail to a PO Box. Maybe AmeriNat didn't get the memo that it's 2026. Perhaps the most headspinning part of it all is that they suggested I go ahead and prepay because the payment check will probably not be in time to

I’m writing this review to give a special thank you to Jettone M. I spoke with her on Oct 28 , I spoke to a representative before speaking with her that wasn’t helpful at all concerning my circumstances I wanted a explanation on a letter I received from Amerinat about my mortgage increase Jettone was patient she listened to me and answered every question I had she also gave me resources on how to handle my current situation being as though it’s a federal shutdown and I am a government employee she made me feel sooo much better. To get that type of compassion and understanding from a customer service Representative is rare and I extremely appreciated her so much. We need more like her. -Alyssa B
