We were with this property management company for over two years, and while things were great at the beginning, I urge you to be cautious of Shirley and the misleading information she provides when issues arise. She would obtain quotes for repairs on the home, but each time we received the invoice for the work done, it was always above the agreed-upon amount. The handyman she used was more expensive than others in the area. Throughout our time with this company, the rent remained unchanged, despite increases in the surrounding area. Shirley frequently mentioned that she was a realtor, so when we decided to sell the home, we naturally approached her. She proposed presenting it to investors she knew first. However, she stated that she could not list it on the MLS, promising to refer us to s

My mother has complained to this company for abut a year about the dangerous trees in her yard. One tree already fell on her car and damaged it. The company refused to cover the cost. There has been several other occasions where parts of the tress have fell. By the grace of God no one has been hurt. I cannot for the life of me understand why they will not do the basic things to ensure there is no danger to life, limb, or their own property. I would not suggest dealing with this company. If I could give them a zero out I would. Seems like the situation is now a lawsuit waiting to happen.

From the first day of inquiring I was greated with a warm welcome, very informative review of properties and availability information. This was a process for my 84 year old father so it was most important to see great customer service , someone patient and willing to answer questions at any time. On the next day of our visit we met the Property Manager and we were even more impressed. Once we did the walk through of the property and the unit, we didn't need to see any more we knew this would be his new home. This process was complete with in 3 hrs..,now 30 days in and he has only had one request which was handled immediately. Thank you again and I am glad we made this choice for his future. The lady in the office is very rude and a nasty person. I spoke with her twice on the phone and both times and both time I spoke with her I have been respectful but she has had a attitude and was very rude. She will not answer any of your questions but will hang up in your face. They really need to replace her with someone who likes their job.

We rented from them for a year. Any time there was an issue, we received prompt attention. The owner went out of her way to help us in any way she could as tenants. When the owner of the home wanted to sell the house, she made the buying of the home painless and as smooth as she could! We were very happy with American Property Management and would recommend them for your home needs.
