Alvarez Homes

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon we decided to stop by and look at models they have. We also emailed them twice without any response. We went into the office and asked if we could look at one specific model they have and the woman told us that the models are open by “appointment only” and she had an appointment coming in 10 minutes. She then asked where we were located, and told us that they only service within a 50 mile radius (we are 65 miles). She was rude, short and dismissive.

Want to start by saying the ritz craft homes are very well built, I’ve been in a ton of modular and stick built homes by being a hvac contractor and the home is very well built. 95% of the issues we had was either with the set crew or Alverez. We had the home set towards the end of 2020. The crew that set the house were a bunch of slobs, they walked trough the house and in the attic smoking cigarettes and the amount of garbage and food wrappers they left in the attic and around the property when there was a full sized dumpster a few feet away was insane. Every day they were here I had to go around cleaning up after them. The one end of the home had a 1/4” gap between the sill plate and rim joist after the home was set. I have been working with Rhonda for a couple years to design my dream home. She has been very patient with me with many shifts and changes in my design. Her insight in how the space looks and feels after installation vs a floor plan was extremely helpful. We are currently to contract and heading into production.

Two years ago we choose Alvarez to buy a house. It was great working with Rhonda to choose finishes and we received our plans. Unfortunately purchasing the land and having it excavated caused our financing to be denied. We were excited to come back this year with cash in hand, ready to order the home. When I called Rhonda in January, she said she’d check if the model was still available and let us know. We waited two months and called back three times, but Rhonda kept insisting she was very busy and still didn’t have an answer for us. In the end we had to find another manufacturer to order the same home from who wasn’t as busy and seemed more appreciative of both our business and time. I still would recommend Alvarez, but realize if they were that busy in the winter months and you have a

I cannot say enough about this company. Over the span of 40 years our family, our children ,and my aunt, have purchased 6 homes from this company. We are just average income people. I have never done business with a more honorable group. The homes are pure quality and the service is more than you could ask for. Thank you Rhonda for all you have done for us.
