I am writing to share my positive experience living at Alina and to express my appreciation for your team. I moved to Alina in early 2025 after searching extensively for a luxury building in a prime location. Coming from a quiet neighborhood in Manhattan Beach, I was initially skeptical about moving to DTLA, but I have been very happy with my decision. The building is consistently clean, the environment is quiet and respectful, and the location perfectly balances the South Park area with central DTLA. I especially want to commend the concierge and the rest of the staff for always being so friendly and professional. I just moved in here and I am very pleased with the community and with its team of professionals. Marsha Young, one of the leasing agents, was amazing. She assisted me during the search and with rental process. She suggested the unit that I ended renting, after learning about my needs and what I was looking for. Her assistance was priceless. She is very professional and kind. The porter was very helpful the day of the moving. Thanks to his help, it was a very smooth process. He is polite and always willing to assist.

I am leaving this review due to a very unpleasant incident that occurred on February 8 around 1:00 PM in one of the building’s elevators. Another resident (who appears to live on the 18th floor) pressed the elevator button using their foot. I politely asked them to respect shared spaces and not press buttons with their foot, as these buttons are used daily by children and families, including mine. In response, I received a dismissive attitude — the resident said they did not want to get sick and later reacted mockingly when I mentioned reporting the incident to management. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable in a residential building and directly affects residents’ sense of cleanliness, comfort, and safety. Marsha Young was absolutely wonderful. We met her last summer to tour the property. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming and showed us multiple units that might work for our needs. Our anticipated move in date was not until winter, so she kept our information on hand and updated us as our date approached. We found the perfect unit and the move in process was seamless. She was responsive to all our requests which helped make the transition run smoothly. So far, the apartment is wonderful and the amenities are great. The gym and pool areas are fantastic. Very happy!!!

I lived here for three years and had such a great experience. The location is super convenient. The apartment itself was comfortable and well-maintained, and any maintenance requests I submitted were handled efficiently. A special shoutout to Nicolas and Rasheed on the staff — they’ve been absolutely amazing! Always friendly, professional, and quick to help with anything I needed. Their support really made the community feel welcoming and cared for. Overall, great experience and highly recommended!
