Alamogordo Housing Authority

It was a set price for a living in an apartment that I rented I moved to Alamogordo New Mexico from Oahu, Hawaii on December 3rd 2016 because a friend ask me to so I tried a different scenery I brought my first dog with me I stayed with one of my friends family members until I went to the Alamogordo housing authorities to sign some papers waited for months or two and then they called me about April 27th 2017 me and my dog moved into a studio apartment it was nice I didn't like too much stuff around me I only had a square house which is a studio which is good at first when I moved in I only paid $115 for my rent and then when the year goes by and my money got higher a little bit I paid like second time I pay like $129 and then the years went by again I paid $149 and then this last rent I

You put in application but they don’t follow up with apps and then you have to put in another application if you don’t stay on them and start over they don’t tell you much when applying how it works. But applying is easy

I have lived here over 2 years. I love my place. The neighborhood is usually quiet. The children are good. The staff are very cooperative. The maintenance crew is prompt and thorough. Thank you for the wonderful place to live.

I want to thank PHA for taking care of us during and after the fire Saturday morning. You have been very kind and helpful and made sure we were taken care of and comfortable while we waited to come home . Thank you

I submitted my application just before they closed down because of Covid19. i was so happy when the office reopened Casandra was right on beat where we left off with my application. Still on waitlist but every time i go in the office they are so pleasent to work with.😊
