AEI Inspections

Chad was so friendly, kind and offered sage advice for us during a difficult time. We would use him again for any future inspections if we were staying at our house.

AEI conducted a home inspection for the house we were purchasing. The report identified several minor issues that needed to be addressed. Notably, the concrete slab outside was leaning on one end, but the inspectors confirmed that the house foundation was in good condition. However, two months after we bought the house, we began to notice that the doors were starting to stick. I called a foundation repair company to evaluate the situation, and they informed me that it would cost approximately $10,000 to repair the foundation.

Chad arrived on time; ready to go to work. He was a pleasure to work with. He made sure we understood what he was doing and what our situation was. He did a very complete inspection of our property. He also took time to have a personal conversation with us; which made the process less stressful for us. If we need AEI in the future, we will ask for Chad!

We were building a garage apartment, and our contractor needed a structural engineers assistance. I was referred to AEI, and Chad came out to assess our new build. He was absolutely an expert in his analysis! We are so thankful to have Chad on our team. We are confident in our new plans for a solid foundation! Thank you AEI!

AEI Inspections provided exceptionally thorough structural, EMP (electrical, mechanical, plumbing), roof, and termite inspections on a property that we were currently under contract on during March 2025. During these inspections, each of the professionals discovered multiple issues that the property owners had not disclosed. The cost of these issues was quite substantial! Not only did the professionals communicate and show us those issues during the inspection, but their reports were extremely detailed-oriented. We were grateful for the expertise the professionals had (three of the team had over three decades of experience each), as well as the clear communication they provided!
