1511 Jefferson ST is the worst apartment (condo) I have ever rented. I am miserable here! Every night my upstairs neighbor stomps around until 2am. Every weekend there are parties so it’s impossible to rest. The courtyard reeks of pet urine. Just so much noise! Live bands rehearsing until midnight. This area has no courtesy. Multiple complexes in a corner so impossible to know who is causing the noise. Literally counting down the months until lease is up. As far as Advent, it took them 4 months to get me and my husband a second access key so for 4 months we had to be inconvenienced with sharing one key. Getting anything done from this HOA is a pain. We were incredibly impressed with the service we received! Our water hose needed repair, and within a day, James Ryan Jr. arrived at our doorstep. He was not only a plumbing expert, but also incredibly accommodating with scheduling and provided excellent follow-up communication. While they were very full service, our experience with Advent was overall terrible. We were charged a mandatory $107 monthly gardening fee—even though there was no lawn. When we visited the property, the plants were in poor condition, making it unclear where that money was actually going. Maintenance was another major issue. We spent over $10,000 multiple times trying to fix some leaking flashing. We weren't very wise in the beginning but we realized the company refuses to share the original contractor receipts, and based on our own bids, they were marking up the work by 100-200%. Their email system somehow stopped working when our tenant turned over, leaving the property empty an extra month and a half for no reason.
