Academy65

Academy 65 has been a good place to live overall. The apartments are modern and the amenities like the gym, study areas, and shared spaces are really convenient. The location is also great and makes getting around Sacramento easy. Like any apartment complex, there can be small issues here and there, but overall the experience has been positive and the community environment is nice.

I’ve been living at Academy 65 since last August and renewed my lease for another year! I’m a student at Sac State, and the location honestly couldn’t be more convenient, it makes getting to campus so easy, especially with a busy student schedule. There were a couple of weird situations with some non-student residents, but management (especially Issiah) was really sweet, understanding, and made sure we felt heard. There were also a few days when the hot water wasn’t working properly, but things like that can happen in any apartment building, and they worked quickly to fix it. Overall, I’ve had a great experience here. The building offers so many nice resources and fun activities, from study areas and the patio to game nights, movie nights, and holiday events. 1. Bike stolen from the cage there - did not care or help. 2. Not enough parking. 3. The management will place you in collections quicker than you can blink and if you pay it, they will still keep reporting it to the credit agency years later when they could remove it. Be warned... 4. If you are the last to leave you have to clean EVERYTHING! The whole place and charge you if it is not clean enough over $600.

I moved in last August and I absolutely love it here. Management is very kind and friendly. There's always little events for the residents to go to. The building is also in a spot where it's very easy to get to everything. I would say my only complaint is just about getting in and out of the bike locker.

The move-in process went really smoothly! They had movers on-site to help everyone unload and deliver their belongings directly to their rooms, which made everything super easy. They even handed out complimentary beverages because of the heat, which was a thoughtful touch. Plus, they provided a video tutorial on how to use the keys—very convenient!
