Great place to rent front until its time to move out. The place i got is a house built 1907. People in the rental community will absolutely always keep your deposit and try to take more when you've always paid rent on time. Make sure if renting from anywhere you take a Pic of every square foot of space ceiling walls floors. They will drain youre money if given the chance

Michael S. Pease is not a good property owner in my opinion. His team has been warned repeatedly about numerous issues with one property in particular and he and his staff has not addressed them. I am not a tenant, I am a neighbor to one of his properties. The fact I tracked the absent owner down to this level should indicate just how poorly I feel his organization is and perhaps others should be wary of making a bad decision.

Nice people, not exactly prompt about anything which is frustrating but I didn’t need much while renting with them so it wasn’t a large issue. My rental wasn’t exactly great but wasn’t terrible either. My lawyer had to draw papers for my deposit since they’re not exactly Johnny on the spot and have poor communication. Could be worse, could be better. I’m not here to squash their reputation, just being honest.

There’s so many problems in the property I am now residing in. They do not answer my calls, they do not answer my texts, their emergency repair service does not answer the phone. Some of my problems are the fact that half the electricity in my apartment does not work, it looks like my shower is held together by gorilla tape, the elevator is a hazard and frightening. The biggest problem is my furnace blows out the flames on my stove, which could cause an explosion or to have me overcome by gas when I’m cooking and not in the room. This is a building in Aledo, Illinois that used to be a hospital. These people are no better than slumlords.

I have been renting almost a year. Company failed to gain a Certificate of Occupancy prior to allowing myself and family to move in. After city cited them 10 pages of violations, work was to be completed end of July 2021, they have cancelled 3 inspections with the city, and the next is coming up in less than a week, and they are no where near done. This whole thing has been a nightmare. Although they seem nice, they do not do what they say, they are clearly unorganized with too much on their plate, or just plain do not care about their properties or customers. This has been my absolute worst renting experience in over 20 years.
