I’ve lived at 79 West Apartments, and it has been the worst rental experience I’ve had so far. The office staff is unprofessional and unwilling to properly assist residents when issues arise. Anytime I went to the office for help, I was met with excuses instead of solutions. One of the most frustrating experiences was being without air conditioning for three months during the summer. Not only was this extremely uncomfortable, but I was never compensated in any way — even though I was still paying for electricity while trying to manage the heat. That situation alone showed a complete lack of urgency and concern for residents’ well-being. There are also ongoing pest issues throughout the complex. Two words- this pool! It’s amazing. I’ve never simultaneously felt at home and on vacation until I experienced 79 West. But the pool and fabulous apartments are not the only major wins here: the view is breathtaking, the sun/tanning deck is spacious and clean, the amenities are truly on par with a holiday start, and you can walk to the beach! The property manager, Rachel, is so knowledgeable and personable (you have to meet her dog too), she made us feel at home as soon as we walked in the door. Moving here was a fabulous decision!

Here's your honest review no one will post: You're better off living under the Hathaway Bridge because there's probably less roaches. Since April (2025) I've been living with German cockroaches and now they're starting to infiltrate all my belongings yet as many times as pest control has been out here nothing has changed and nothing seems to want to be done about it. I have roaches living in the dishwasher ,in the oven, in the cabinets ,the refrigerator , under the base boards , the bathrooms and every time I want to use any kind of utensil or dishes it has to be washed just for the simple fact it's been in the cupboards where I find roaches crawling through all the time . If you like to live where 90% of the people don't clean up after their dogs then live here.( and if you wonder why

79 West is in the perfect location! Living on the beach is a dream, and the staff make living here an amazing experience. They were at my door within 1 hour of needing a simple appliance repair, and the maintenance team checked back to make sure it was satisfactory. If you like the beach and living in a beautiful well cared for community, 79 West is the place for you!

This place is amazing! 2 blocks from the Beach, stunning sunsets, incredible resort style living, Tropical Pool with outside amenities. From the moment you pull in there's a sense of tranquility. Grounds are well kept and Tropical, the Fountain feature of the pool relaxes the mind, Residents are kind and welcoming. This is top of my list the best place I've moved into. Property Staff are accommodating, friendly and proficient. Holiday and the girls in the office take pride in the property and its Tenants. Can't say that for many places. Highly recommend this beautiful, friendly and peaceful property.
