Lived here for 8 months and couldn’t stand it anymore. I saw several cockroaches everyday, the laundry room was constantly flooding with sewage, and the management was completely unresponsive. It’s probably nicer to live in a tent under a bridge than to rent from this place. If you could leave prison, it’d probably be nicer to live in a jail cell than here.

Do not rent here. Unless you are at risk of homelessness during the winter months, I would not recommend residing at this property. During my tenancy, I experienced repeated plumbing issues in which toilets ran continuously and leaked, resulting in water flooding the hallways. On one occasion, maintenance was contacted but did not respond. After an earlier incident, two individuals arrived, briefly dried the carpets using equipment resembling a leaf blower, and then departed without further remediation. The building frequently smells of smoke, and I did not observe any functioning fire alarms. Half of the amenities are gone so I dont know why the site still says" Amazon hub, keyless entry, the internet comes and goes, the computers dont work anymore, there is no printing station anymore, they took the pool table equipment away and everything else and theres no seating area anymore where the couches use to be" .The place has gone down really bad. No one in the building is upkeeping the place. Theres roaches everywhere, didnt have heat for 2 weeks , lights went in and out, the hot water was off for 1 week and the trash would be overfull. We would get emails before saying the reason why the power would go out is because everybody was using the space heater at the same time and that we have to work together to stop the lights from going out. Horrible experience. For a relative who has now since passed. I cleared the apartment over the last few days of the month of July. I shampooed the carpet cleaned the bathroom wipe down the Walls, etc. I was told by Mr Gentry the property manager that the apartment was extremely clean and up to their standards. And that I should be getting a security deposit back after I was able to provide them with my relatives death certificate which I did. He gave me a thumbs up and a text message and I've been calling for months, emailing for months and text messaging for months as well I wouldn't recommend this place for anybody. Hopefully the owner sees this.

MASSIVE DISGUSTING ROACH INFESTATION. The first night I slept here I found a roach in my bed, right next to my face and it was traumatizing. It has been treated by caulking for some time but the place is falling apart and getting new cracks monthly. I have had a severe infestation everywhere. My bed, fridge, microwave, and bathroom. It might be better sleeping at the train station. Under no circumstances (unless on the verge of homelessness, but again it might be better sleeping at a CTA train station) come here. They smile in your face, but packages are stolen now you can get mail and pick it up unless they are open, the water is gross, there’s a disgusting roach infestation. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!
