Living here could and should be much more pleasant, but management is uncommunicative and dismissive. The units, building, and amenities are well-appointed, but many residents don’t abide by the rules in place regarding loud noise, use of common spaces, and smoking. Management doesn’t enforce any of these regulations. I, personally, have made a request for over 6 months that has gone ignored. The communication greatly lacks when it comes to informing us of changes to dates of tenant meetings and scheduled services pertaining to the units. This becomes more than inconvenient when you’ve adjusted your work and personal time to accommodate something THEY have planned and canceled without informing us! Everything was fine until it wasn’t. I had previously spoken highly of this property publicly but now I’m wholeheartedly upset and displeased with the management of this property. I have been displaced since 12/26/2023 due to my apartment flooding. I was never upset with anyone because it was out of anyone’s control. But the steps and actions to getting my apartment completed ARE within managements control. And the actions that have been taken are completely unprofessional, negligent, and careless. It is almost APRIL and I am still without a home. I am practically homeless due to me moving from place to place. The last update I received for my apartments due date was for March 24th. Had such high hopes for this apartment building, but living here kind of sucks. We've had a dysfunctional heating system for the entire cold season. The walls and ceilings are paper thin. You can hear every step someone takes, everything they drop, moving furniture, shouting, fighting. My upstairs neighbor ALONE makes me want to break my lease because of nonstop noise. It's unfortunate that in order to live comfortably under normal working conditions, you have to basically be rich. It's so clear that The Community Builders took the cheapest route possible for every decision when planning this building. It's definitely not built to last.
