This was a great place to live for the two plus years I was there. The staff is friendly and kind and it is close to everything. Not to mention it is very affordable. Unfortunately, a personal circumstance needed me to relocate out of state to be closer to family and I had to break my lease. The buyout is more than any other place I have ever lived in, the equivalent of four months of rent that they want UP FRONT if you vacate the apartment before the official 60 day move out date. This was not initially communicated to me when I made the inquiry to management so make sure you ask all the correct questions and get everything in writing. My daughter stayed at this place for a year and while she liked the location, it was mostly a negative experience. First, they said they would give her a discount on the deposit if she works in a certain facility, but then they retrieved that statement when she moved in. Next, they promised that the lobby would be redone by the summer before she moved in, but that was not done until a year later one week before she moved out. There was also an ant problem in the summer, which she has never experienced anywhere else. Finally, they took every advantage to make her pay a fine and were very unhelpful in general with any issues she came across involving rent payments. My daughter recently started renting at 400 Rhett and we have had a wonderful experience so far. Ashley, Lauren, and Kayla have been great to deal with and the entire process from the application to move in has been great! Everyone has been very responsive to any questions we may have, the apartment is new, clean and updated and the facility as well. Having experienced several other apartment complexes over recent years and various property management companies i would say 400 Rhett is the best one we have dealt with. I would highly recommend checking them out if you are looking to live in the downtown Greenville area!!!

I have lived at 400 Rhett Street apartments for coming up on 5 years now and I wouldn't have changed a thing! The city has grown a lot in the last 5 years and the West End has become a more popular area. The amenities, maintenance, resident events, service and location are hard to beat. Whenever I have a maintenance request, it is taken care of promptly. The building is always clean and smells fresh. The staff is very friendly and professional and I have always been treated well. I love being within walking distance of everything. From dinner, to going out, to concerts at Bon Secours and baseball games, the location is wonderful. I have felt safe with the gated parking garage and keypad system. I love using the pool in the summer and we have grilled out and hosted people in the clubhouse.

I agree with previous reviews of this property, especially when it comes to Jordan! I did not end up renting with this property, only because I was looking for something with a connected single garage and more space for the dollar, which end up being outside of downtown. However, Jordan was and is absolutely amazing! Even after I told her that I was going to rent in one of the suburbs, she provided me with a ton of recommendations for restaurants, bars, shopping, activities, etc., etc. I did not expect that but she took the time to do it and has kept the chain open with new ideas coming my way. Totally impressed with her! The property is absolutely awesome and it was one I took a hard look at. Its location is great, the amenities are great and it definitely provides excitement to living do
