3368 Washington Apartments

Current resident of 3368 Washington. The building and amenities are great, and maintenance and caseworkers have been solid in my experience. Management and security, however, are often an issue — frequently displaying a God complex. Security needs training to listen calmly, let residents speak, and properly address issues; currently, they often cut people off, mishandle requests, and fail to follow up. Since English is not always their first language, they should slow down and humbly listen instead of assuming they know what will be said. Some grievances I reported to security were never relayed to management despite promises. This culture of chaos, non-transparency, cutting residents off during conversation, and offering empty promises with zero follow-up often makes residents look pushy

This is a horrible place to live. I am a professional working adult and I've had a difficult time adjusting to this building. The fire alarm constantly goes off late in the night. The drug use is very apparent and uncomfortable to be around. On site you may find empty narcotic baggies, used needles, vomit, blood and urine in the elevators, lobby and Laundry room. Security is useless and is just there for decoration. This is not a building for families or anyone who has a normal life. The stove will turn off if you use the oven and stove top at the same time. The management is terrible they have no clue what they're doing and will be sure to send you off with an empty promise.

A whole nightmare. When you first get approved, they don't tell you you're sharing the building with the homeless until after you sign. The problem isn't the fact that their homeless - it's they are using drugs in and out of the building, causing ruckus as if it were a shelter. You see groups of them congregating in the lobby passing baggies to each other it's disgusting. The management 1/10 they honestly don't know what they're doing, Maintenance never comes to your apartment when you need them to. The fire alarm is constantly going off past midnight. The whole building is so unorganized and chaotic. You also have rude strange neighbors that always seem to be fighting down the halls. Horrible, mental health issues, drug problems building isn't even done. I suffer myself from mental health issues but I see my doctors and have been recovery now for 10 yrs Very uncomfortable I have a 3 year old daughter who I don't even want to visit me after I've been homeless for years , I thought this was my dream come true just turned to a nightmare. Management doesn't do anything. People constantly breaking property that's okay. It's all okay till something bad happens someone ends up really hurt or dead. Pine Street shelter has better safety no weapons can't bring drugs in. So this building needs to get their shit together before they keep bringing in more and not dealing with the issues going on already

The best of best place to live. I love the staff here and the residents. 🙏🏿👏🏾 They deserve more credits then we give them. Me and child are so blessed to be renting here. ❤️❤️ Keep it easy 😁😁
