211 Mora Apartments

A lil on the pricier side but 100% worth it. As a UCSC student this place was a haven for me! It's a lovely and quiet area very close to my go to stores Starbucks/Whole Foods/Safeway and of course you can't beat the convenience of how close it is to UCSC. I wish covid-19 hadn't torn me away from this place, I wish I could've stayed longer. The manager of our complex was an amazingly understanding person and I had the best experience with 211 Mora Apartments. 10/10 would recommend!

This is a very convenient, well-kept living situation for students. Walkable to downtown and within close proximity to both Cabrillo (via freeway) and UCSC. The owners have opened up 1-2 homes for non students, which is appreciated. Reasonably priced rooms for short term or long term rental situations.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is not a healthy student living. When it came to the pandemic they did NOT take any healthy precautions. It took them exactly four months to finally take action. There were promises of dropping off cleaning supplies in March which didn’t happen till July! From getting ahold of the housing coordinator, housing maintenance, and cleaning maintenance it’s terrible. Beware! I recommend to get a house tour before signing contract and knock on the doors to the people that currently live there to ask how their living situation is. Save yourself.

I’m only giving it two star with the hope that there is some potential to this place. Reddit reviews warned how this place is not responsive to emails and that’s very accurate. I’m only reviewing on how poor the responsive are to emails where I leave multiple and still no response. How can there be communication when it’s a one way street? You may leave a response of having me contact again for future better service, but damage has already been done. If that was the case this post would’ve been prevented.
