1943 DOT Ave

I toured an apartment at 1943 Dot Ave and was initially interested, but the lack of communication completely changed my mind. After the tour, I reached out multiple times with follow-up questions and received no response to emails or phone calls. Unfortunately, this seems to be a consistent issue based on other reviews as well. If management can’t communicate with prospective tenants, it doesn’t give confidence that resident concerns will be handled properly. Due to the poor responsiveness and customer service, I will not be moving forward with this property.

Moving into 1943 Dot Ave has genuinely been a great experience. The process was really seamless, even when I had to be abroad for work during our move in. The complex made it super easy. They offered us two months of free rent, which meant my husband could settle in quickly, and by the time I got back from Europe, we were already all set up. The location is fantastic, right across from Ashmont Station, so getting into the city is super convenient. As for amenities, we love sitting out on the porch on nice days, especially with our dog. And the team here is just great. A special shoutout to Molly. She is always super responsive and flexible, especially with any leasing questions or situations we have had. Overall, it has been a really positive experience living here.

My bike was stolen. Maintenance person kept popping up unannounced and tried to access the apartment to drop off the key even though I requested an alternative delivery. My car was vandalized when I parked on the street. Lots of violence in the neighborhood. The gym is poorly maintained and the size of a large closet.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! Regardless of how management responds to this review or discusses the property with you, do not live here. This building looks high end from the outside, but is the most poorly managed property I have ever lived at. Here are some of the issues I have faced since living at 1943 Dot: Theft: This is a big problem at this building. The first week I lived here, my $600 bike (locked up in the building’s garage) had its U-Lock cut and was stolen. The bike was stolen because the garage door was broken and left up all day and all night. When I reported the bike as stolen to the property management, they magically came and fixed the garage door the next day. The problem didn’t stop there. I have also had up to $1200 worth of packages stolen from the lobby of this building. I hav

Was applying to live here, and the agent gave me hope and told me that I would get a response within the next week just to tell me few hours later that I was denied. Well I’m glad I didn’t get approved I didn’t like the environment and too far from my new job. Plus poor communication
