My experience with the apartment leasing office has been incredibly disappointing and disheartening. In a group of three individuals, each with solid financial standing, we eagerly submitted our application and paid a substantial $120 fee. Despite our optimism, we were met with a baffling response – complete silence, which effectively served as a rejection of our application. To make matters worse, the leasing agent, who initially indicated a potential rejection, chose to utterly disregard our attempts to reach out. Our phone calls and messages were met with deafening silence, leaving us feeling ignored and frustrated. The actions of the leasing office reek of arrogance and, quite possibly, racial bias.
