I lived at 1724 Highland for 14 months and want to give a clear, straightforward review for anyone considering moving here. For context, I prioritize safety, storage, modern features, and strong amenities. 1724 delivers on most of those points, but there are operational issues and fine-print frustrations you should be aware of. Pros: • Amenities: The pool, hot tub, grills, gym, and secured resident parking are great additions. • Unit: The apartments are spacious with excellent storage. My two-bedroom comfortably fit large furniture without ever feeling cramped. I want to give an honest review of my experience living here over the last 6 months because I know I would have appreciated this type of review when I was looking for an apartment 6 months ago! My top priorities in an apartment at the time were safety (both of me and my car), privacy, in unit washer/dryer, and a good size/layout of the apartment. I will say that in all of those areas, this apartment has exceeded my expectations. The building is very secure and I always feel safe (priority number 1) and I feel like I have great privacy. The walls are thick. I have never heard my neighbors. And I have a quiet view of the inside of the apartment building. Very relaxing and calm where I’m at, though I hear it depends on what unit you’re in. I also feel that the parking garage is very secure

This property is amazing! Have been living here for many years and have found no complaints. When going through the move in process with the office it was a very easy and quick transaction. I would truly give this building and it's manager a high rating. Great location and convenient to everything. It is very well run and the management office always attentive to any request and needs that one may have as a resident. Happy to be here

Worst and most stressful living experience. The first and most times we had to call the police: multiple break-ins (unit and vehicle) and constant noise disturbances from neighbors at all hours. Tenants were more of a problem, on top of the unreliable management team: careless parking neighbors frequently damaged our cars, mail would get stolen, the building and grounds were poorly maintained (common areas often smelled of pet waste, trash chutes were constantly overflowing, and fire alarms went off regularly.

I lived here for almost 2 years and I had a really good experience. The staff is very nice, they respond fast and they keep the building clean all the time.
