As someone who works in consulting for large multi‑family operators including optimizing lead‑to‑lease processes, enhancing governance and controls to reduce risk, improving technology utilization, and increasing resident retention, I am frankly shocked by the lack of governance and controls in place at this building. The financial and operational risks posed to Cushman & Wakefield are significant. Across multiple months, we were charged the wrong rent (our rent increase took multiple months to be processed) and our full security deposit was returned two months before our lease even ended. While these mistakes happened to work in our favor, they reflect a serious breakdown in standard operating procedures/governance. From the moment you enter the garage, it's clear this place is far from "luxury." Appliances are scattered all over the garage, making it feel more like a third-world storage facility than a high-end Stamford apartment complex. The maintenance is another disaster. This place deserves 0 stars! Idk where to start. Before we moved in there were issues we noticed in the apt and let management know a week before we moved in and none were addressed. After that, it was the apartment of hell. Below are what we encountered. 1. Apartment flooded which resulted in a 1k carpet being damaged 2. 3 mice were caught in the apartment and were told no one mentioned mice when clearly there was a mouse trap in the vent. 3. Another flood in the apt 4. Maintenance being rude to my wife the first go around and did not address any issues. For all this we got a partial credit to our rent and free parking. We had an emergency with our microwave that sparked and immediately received a replacement within 48 hours. We had Denny the Specialist come to install this new microwave for us. He took his time to make sure everything was secured and demonstrated how to use it properly. We appreciate our maintenance team for always taking care of us as their tenants.
