Zen Long Island at Copiague

I have honestly lived in this location for about 2 years when it was originally called Nu-Horizon and I can tell you management was then and still is now by far the worst I have ever experienced. They take forever to fix a simple problem and if you decide to take them on their offer for residency don't expect your security deposit back. Parking is an issue from time to time on busy weekends when other tenants have gatherings so if you're sensitive to noise, then bypass this apartment as your new home.

Dave and Tyronne were great and prompt when it came to servicing my apartment maintenance needs. They were welcoming, kind and very friendly people. Dave and Tyronne contacted me directly and made sure that all my apartment concerns were resolved. Great service all around thank you

RUN from this place. We lived there for a year, Zen took over the complex a few months before our lease was up and the complex turned to shit. Landscaping was not kept up with, our downstairs neighbor has sewage outside their window for months that maintenance did not take care of and no one responded about. We were told we had a few weeks to sign the new lease or our rent would increase by $700. Only issue was the lease was NEVER sent. Daily phone calls and emails were sent to the office with no response. My Fiancè had to take off work to physically go to the office to get any answers AND we had to get an attorney involved. The one time the office manager Hailey actually got on the phone with me she wanted sympathy for how much work she has to do in her job and then resorted to calling me

I just wanted to say that the management here is very poor sevice they don't want to answer your phone calls or respond to your emails. I had a flood in my closet in the bedroom where Ken, the maintenance guy came looked at it and step into the water in the closet. I seen him a few weeks later he says I don't see any water outside, I said no because it's in my closet going up the wall. I continuously try to get the odor out and dry the floor & wall up with a fan which didn't work because it was coming up into the bedroom. The smell and the mold was traveling up the wall making me sick I have complained and they did nothing and when I spoke to Ken again he told me there was no water outside. I moved out and Haley from the leasing office said oh you'll get your security deposit of $2199 bac

I had the pleasure of working with Carolyn at Zen Long Island. She was extremely professional, courteous and attentive to my questions and solutions. I would highly recommend Zen as a future home as my son and I are very happy living here. Thank you Carolyn for all your help.
