Woodpark Apartments

I’ve lived at Woodpark Apartments in Aliso Viejo since 2000, and this place has ruined my health, delayed critical surgeries, and subjected me to years of retaliation and neglect. If you are disabled, low-income, or just want a safe place to live—stay far away. In 2017, my unit flooded. Within 24 hours, mushrooms were growing out of the walls. Black mold spread everywhere. I was rushed to the ER with lung and stomach issues. Management left me in that toxic unit for over a week. That exposure led to: • A 7-hour brain tumor surgery (I now live with a metal plate in my skull) • A hysterectomy and an untreated 10 cm ovarian cyst • Diagnoses of Cowden Syndrome, Sick Building Syndrome, and environmental illness Since the beginning of my tenancy, I’ve been moved into five different units, all

I’ve been here for 20+ years unfortunately I don’t have the means to move anywhere else, but I’m VERY UNHAPPY with the management of the complex and the lack of upgrades for how old the complex. This Complex was built in 1998 . This apartment complex either needs to be shut down or remodels the water damage in all units will damage your health. I’ve had a brain tumor after water exposure, and unit that I was in in 2018. I had to have brain tumor surgery to remove a centimeter brain tumor. I’m disabled now thanks to the apartment that caused the mold exposure for me. They said they didn’t have another unit to move me to. Then I was in a three bedroom when that happened. They said they did not have a three bedroom instead they offered me a two bedroom. I accepted it. I had no choice. but

This place seems like a good place but there's so many leaks and just issues with these apartments. The walls are thin as heck. There's people who live in 3 bedroom apartments but live all by themselves. It takes forever just to get in, I've had family members who've waited for a few years because there was a waiting list but calls them back and they told them it's first come first serve. They're always changing managers for this property. Some neighbors are very rude. These apartments aren't really fair. They were built a long time ago and have not been updated. Sometimes my walls seem like they're falling apart with cracks and line through them with mold growing. The maintenance takes forever just to "fix" the issue.

I lived in Woodpark Apartments for 14 years. The parking situation was great (which is always a plus). Our family had three cars and friends over all the time and there was always space for all of us. If there was ever an issue in the house (like in the rare case of a flooded floor) they would come out RIGHT AWAY to fix the problem. We broke a window once: a maintenance guy came and repaired it. Our blinds went through a lot. The complex would put in new ones. The tile and the carpet got old: they replaced both. The pool area was always fun to have parties at. I have many fantastic memories of birthday parties and graduation celebrations there. If anything ever happened to your washer or dryer, there is a coin mat conveniently in the complex already. We moved into woodpark apartments on 1-15-2017. The property is well managed by property manager. The property manager is keen professional and friendly. The maintenance people are awesome and friendly as well. The complex is well maintained. Beautiful landscaping, clean laundry room with convenient hours, Clean swimming pool and exercise room. Arrangement of communication between management and tenant are well implemented and established.
