Woodlands of Crest Hill

This is my first time living on my own, and I honestly love it here! I’ve been living here for 3 months now and it’s been such a positive experience. From the day I moved in, my neighbors were super helpful and welcoming, which made settling in so much easier. Everyone I’ve met has been really nice, and the community itself is quiet and always well kept. I also really appreciate the amenities—having a pool and gym right here is a huge bonus. The apartments are a great price for the size and everything included, especially compared to other places I looked at. Plus, the location couldn’t be better—I’m super close to stores, and I especially love being right by Smoothie King! A few downsides for me would be you aren’t guaranteed a garage. I've been a resident at Woodlands, and I can't say enough good things! From the moment I moved in, I knew this was the perfect place for me. The apartments themselves are fantastic – spacious, bright, and well-maintained with modern finishes, great natural light, and thoughtful layouts that make everyday living feel easy and comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are especially nice, and everything feels fresh and updated. I love coming home to such a welcoming space every day. What really sets this place apart, though, is the incredible staff. The management team and maintenance crew are truly outstanding – responsive, friendly, and genuinely caring. Not a fan of the new management trying to pull one over on the residents recently. Utilities were billed a day late and at least a dozen residents had late fees added on for not going back to double check after seemingly paying on the first. I hope to see clearer email communication next time errors are made on the property’s side.

The only good thing about this place is the office worker Robin. She is the best person and the only person they have hired that actually seems to care about the people that live in the community. Since moving here in 2023 it was nothing but continuous problems. Here is a list of the problems I experienced while staying here: 1. Random stains appearing on the ceiling. 2. Animals digging into the ceiling and making small holes. 3. Mice burrowing up through the floor and into the bedroom. 4. Chipping ceiling paint falling. 5. Terrible blinds and poor windows. 6. Horrible customer service and terrible management. 7. A company that will nickel and dime you at every opportunity (they began charging us for “community space electricity” and to have packages delivered). 8. The maintenance workers

I moved here because I was desperate and I completely regret it. Here's a list of some of the things I have noticed within a month of moving here. 1. Everything is super expensive. They lied about the utility costs as I am paying way more than they estimated (about $45/month more), $5/month to use the package room, laundry is nearly $5 for 1 load despite tenants being charged for common area electrical, water/sewer, and gas,... 2. The infrastructure of this place sucks. I can hear every single step my upstairs neighbor makes because it sends loud shockwaves through my apartment, which really sucks because they are always stomping around at 11:00 PM, 3:00 AM, and 6:00 AM. 3. Everything is falling apart. I have had maintenance on all of my windows twice, maintenance on my heat twice, mainte
