Woodcrest Hills

I have lived in Woodcrest Hills for 14 years! The community is quiet and well kept. The comments made by a renter in the community is inaccurate. The HOA does not come in to your home at any time and does not conduct internal inspections. The HOA conducts external inspections on a regular basis to make sure the community stays uniform and clean. The community currently is shared with rentals but the owner is in the process of selling as leases expire. Current renters have rights to purchase the unit at listed price. HOA fees include landscaping and mowing, snow removal and external building repair as needed. There is a small playground that was recently mulched and repaired. I am happy I live here!

Don’t bother living here anymore the owner decided to sell all the rental units because he has “too much”. Everyone is on a month-to-month. Woodcrest Hills made a deal with HOA aka York H-G Properties and Elite Property Management in this selling process. Purposely did not want all tenants to know all at once they were selling all the rental units. HOA comes inside to “inspect your home” and if your home is in good condition, they send a letter and you have to make a quick decision to either buy or move out. Keep in mind these condominiums are reaching at 10 years old with no upgrades or proper maintenance within those 10 years whatsoever. If you decide not to buy your condo you only have 30 days vacate. I’ve been living here for years with my family and went through hell with this process

We have been renting here a couple of months and we really like it. The units are well insulated and our utility costs reflect that considering we are polar bears. The unit is spacious and comfortable for this family of four. (Two adults and two children under 6) The only slight downside is that there are train tracks far enough that you cannot hear the train on the tracks, but close enough to hear the horn periodically. That is no fault of the community, but important for light sleepers to know.

Nice neighborhood and i love the views from the hills. The hills can also be a negative, especially for winter driving. The units have sub-par a/c units (one small single unit for three stories, it gets warm in the summer and all the floors have different temperatures)

I live here now. Some people in the neighborhood rent and others own their homes. I've never been hassled by management. Overall, I like it.
