Winterwoods Apartments

Unfortunately, this last year's lease I've had nothing but problems with both management and maintenance. But I'm going to give a star for the neighborhood, the neighbors are kind and it's usually very quiet. It started with me reporting issues of my floors sinking in multiple spots in May with no resolution. Moving into September where my hot water heater had a large leak that cause a lot of water damage in the laundry room and bathroom, even floors completely collapsed. I would have to call and email multiple times, or show up at the office to just receive any communication. Once I was able to receive maintenance close to October they would come in my house, many times unannounced, for an hour or 2 at a time and took over 3 weeks to "fix" my floors. Scheduled a appointment for viewing an apartment, no one was there. Office personnel wasn't there, there was a number to call, never answered or called back. Place looks very rundown.

Terrible. Mold. Horrible mold and they are not remediating properly. Moved out in January and am still very ill five months later. Literally went through the floor. The walls were coming off the ceiling and all they did was add caulk. And mold in the floors walls AND ceiling, baseboards, vents, etc. also, because they didn’t seal anything properly no matter how clean you are you will always always have roaches. And I mean giant palmettos. I sprayed every week, had a professional come out, and laid every corner with diatomaceous earth and still every week I was killing both small and huge roaches. They need to be torn down. No amount of remodels will fix it. And no I am not the only one that had problems. Please, don’t move here. It is dangerous for your health.

My mom has been a resident for over 5yrs. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. Very nice and safe community. The office lady Ty is always helpful and cheerful whenever I speak with her. The apartments are about 30+ years old so we understand there’s going to be wear and tear but the maintenance staff fixes things in a timely manner and the property is well kept. It makes myself and my siblings happy to know our mom is in great care. The property is also near the downtown winter garden and the commute is about 7 minutes away. I would definitely recommend Winterwoods if you’re looking for a single story community. The only con is that my mom uses public transportation so there’s no bench or seating for her to wait for the bus but I’ve been in contact with the city to

Very quiet and peaceful place to live. I have lived here since 2021 and have had no complaints. The office staff and maintenance team have always been responsive and helpful whenever I've needed assistance. Sam Sproat has especially been helpful and very friendly. Her efforts to get to know each and every resident has been much appreciated.
