Windsor Old Fourth Ward Apartments

Fire alarm goes off all the time (10+ times the last year), and the night of this posting I can’t go to bed at 4am because the fire department doesn’t have the correct code to turn off the fire alarm…. I would avoid anything Windsor Edit - two nights after my first review the alarm is going off again, now at 1:15am. Try working any job where your building’s cheap ownership causes you to wake up every other night for 1-2hrs. Again. run away from this place

Don’t live here. They just don’t care. That’s honestly the best summary of this place. On paper, it looks great. The gym is solid, the pool is nice, and the apartments themselves are decent. But once you actually live here, it becomes obvious that management is focused on keeping operating costs low — not taking care of the people who live here. The biggest issue is the fire alarm situation. It’s not just that it goes off overnight (which it has, multiple times). It’s that there isn’t always someone on-site capable of properly handling it — which, from what I understand, is a violation of Georgia law. On top of that, parts of the fire system have literally been beeping for years and never fully addressed. Years. It makes you question what’s actually being maintained behind the scenes. T

Highly advise against living here. Fire alarm went off 10+ times for no reason in the middle of the night in my 1.5 years there. Garage gates malfunction, electrical closet doors left open to public, elevators in and out of working. There are better options nearby with less issues for the same price

I do not usually write reviews, but I cannot ethically say nothing and have someone else think it is okay to move here, like me. I have lived here for 1.5 years and this place is a major fire risk. We had an actual emergency two weeks ago ( look at the Atl crime map for vandalism) and the firemen came and thought the fire suppression system was malfunctioning, as this happens on a monthly basis at least. However this time it was really an emergency. The fire alarm was pulled and there was fire extinguisher discharge all over the second floor. What was concerning is that I had to tell the firemen about the situation and give them access to the second floor. Firemen should have access to the building in an emergency.
