Windsor Chastain Apartments

Starr assisted me, through and through, in my moving in process. I moved in in August and have enjoyed the 4 months Ive been here. The apartments are modern, the grounds are clean & quiet, very quality living/complex. No complaints. Only negative? I was unaware that there were no normal ceiling lighting in the bedroom in my unit. The bedroom has a ceiling fan & light switches that look to be normal lighting. After touring this exact apartment twice, it was the large/long windows that provided light to the room, which is what I wanted but not at the exchange of normal lighting for the room. The light switches control the lamps turning on/off for the room. So it works fine, I’m ok with it. Just had to find additional ways to light the room in my particular unit. I’ve had such a positive experience here thanks to the wonderful team. The maintenance staff — especially Ahmed, Edmondson, and Dwayne — have been incredibly helpful and responsive every time I’ve needed assistance. They’re professional, kind, and go above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of quickly. The office team is also great — Leandra in particular is always so pleasant and easy to work with. It really makes a difference living somewhere where the staff genuinely care about the residents. Highly recommend!

Our experience was going well until our apartment flooded due to a burst pipe that affected 5 units. We came back home at 10pm to our apartment filled with water. We were not alerted that our apartment flooded, we had to alert them. No communication from management, a remediation company came at 11pm and worked until 1am. We have been living with 4 industrial fans and 2 industrial dehumidifiers in our home for the past 5 days. The only communication from property management has been instructions to call our rental insurance. It took them 4 days to decide and cut holes in the wall, however mold/mildew can start 24 hours to 48 hours from moisture exposure. Who knows how many times this has happened and they’ve taken the shortcut and not cut holes as we had to pressure them to do so. This has
